After practicing law for 30 years, Barry Fanning has handled a wide variety of complex insurance-related controversies, from products liability, premises liability and sexual abuse coverage, to commercial and construction litigation matters. He also does estate planning, wills and probate work.
A native Texan, Barry grew up in Dallas and received his B.B.A. and J.D. from Baylor University and its law school in 1973 and joined the firm soon after.
Barry is active in both his church and community and has served on numerous boards and with many organizations. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Young Life Dallas Region Fund Drive, through 2005. Additionally, he recently served as Chairman of the Community Services Fund Drive of the Downtown YMCA, for 2002-2003.
Being widowed and remarried, Barry and his wife now enjoy trying to keep up with five children ages 13 to 26. Barry also enjoys boating, handball and rollerblading.
